We have found the MOST “dog’s welcome” place ever! AND the food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It is my new favorite dog friendly restaurant! Slabtown Cider Co. is located at 4559 Concession Rd. 6, Uxbridge, ON.
This restaurant is massive and is extremely popular, as it should be! The food, cider and beer are excellent. The main restaurant has an inside area but since we had the dogs were didn’t go inside. Our table was outside on the vast area of patio tables. Our table we sat at was out in the open but there was a section outside that was fully covered so that you can sit with your pup outside even if it was raining.
When we arrived there was a bit of a wait for our table so we had a wonderful walk around the orchards with Maze & Nyx. This property would be a wonderful place to get married!
The patio area was massive and there were so many dogs. I lost count but at one point I counted 15 dogs hanging out with their owners while they ate and drank or wandering around the wonderful property.
Mike choose a raspberry beer and I choose a watermelon cider, they were so good we brought some home with us!
We started with the calamari and Mike had a pizza and I had a sandwich with fries. So delicious!
The atmosphere is very dog welcoming. Each table had a bowl of water for the tables dogs. And every dog that was there was so wonderful. Every single one of servers stopped to give Maze & Nyx a pat and some rubs.
The property and flower beds made the place so beautiful and peaceful!
Slabtown Cider Co. Store
Also on the property is the Slabtown Cider store. This store is not dog friendly but if you have another with you, just take turns or if it was a cool day like our day, we just left the dogs in the car for a short time. Along with the wonderful cider that is sold, there is also Slabtown Cider merchandise and baked goods from Annina’s Café and Bakery. Don’t forgot your dog treats when you are there!
Not only is this a place to visit, this should be a favorite go to on your list of dog friendly restaurants!
