I absolutely love traveling, the outdoors and spending time with my dog, Nala. When Nala first came home, I was so excited to go exploring and I started searching for places we could go and visit together. I soon discovered that there is lots of information about great hiking trails, but limited information about leash free areas. So, I set out to visit different off-leash parks and share them all with you! This blog is a summary of the York Region dog parks and trails and will be updated as we visit more places. Here is an overview of each park but if you wish to learn more, click the links and visit each individual blog!
In addition to York Region, we also have summary blogs for: Durham Region, South Eastern Ontario and coming soon is Central Ontario. As an illustration, please see the maps below for the off leash dog parks and hiking trails of those areas. Furthermore, you can click our map on our main page for all our off leash dog parks!
