Hi!

I’m so happy that you have clicked on our page. Here, we have an opportunity to share all about our fur babies.

So about me. Well, first and foremost, I’m a mom of two kids, a son and a daughter. I’m a 4th child with only brothers. I have amazing parents who taught me to believe that I could do anything I put my mind to. I am also a professional engineer, completing a B.A., B.Sc.E, M.Sc.E and P.Eng and have been working as an engineer since 2000. In the winter, I work as a downhill ski instructor. In the summer, I am a volunteer camp counselor for a girls engineering camp.

Besides teaching skiing, I pretty much play every sport…. Hockey, softball, adventure races, trampoline, gymnastics, swimming, kayaking, hiking and I also hold my advanced scuba diving certification. I actually met my partner, Don, playing hockey and softball.

I love to travel, both with my family and with work, attending conferences where I show my published conference papers. My kids and I have traveled to lots of amazing places. I’ve been to over 20 countries, visited every province and always looking for another adventure.

I have a Bengal cat named Simba. He was the baby of the family. Then we decided to bring home Nala, our Red Fox Labrador.  It took a couple of days, but they are now best friends.
